Forward Festival Berlin
Role — Art direction, GenAI, workshop design
Timeline — 3 month of work
Skills — Art direction, GenAI, brand, communication
Context
Forward Festival gathers respected designers. Flim was invited to run a workshop, in front of an audience that didn't know the product yet to explain ho to create consistency in GenAI and to create workflow and process with AI.
Task
Positioned Flim inside the workflow of graphic and product designers
Built a working method around a Flim.ai feature: aesthetics and custom LoRAs
Wrote the workshop playbook with Vincent Arlat: steps, pauses, when to step in based on the audience's level
Ran the session live, prompting and driving the screen throughout
Created highly convincing aesthetics to position Flim as a prescriber
Reframed Flim: not just a cinematic tool, but a way to build cinematic mockups that showcase a designer's own work
Delivered all assets (film, comms) and led the project end-to-end, including festival coordination
Result
A full workshop concept and identity.
47 designers and professionals signed up ahead of the session from Lego Group, Adobe, Hugo Boss, McKinsey, Telefónica, Hyperdream AI studio and more…
It also became an unexpected research channel: their feedback surfaced real product and navigation issues, fed straight back to the developers and UX team.

The gap
Flim had the references and the technology. What it lacked was a bridge to daily creative practice. The workshop was that bridge.

The system
One repeatable workflow, segmented into steps a designer can own end to end.

Search
Pull cinematic references with intent.

Curate
Build a tight board, around a dozen images that define a single world.

Model
Turn that board into a custom model with Flim's Aesthetic feature, so the world becomes promptable.

Prompt
Generate inside the universe you already defined.
Stage: place a real product into that world as a cinematic mockup.
Flim provides the database and the tool. The method, the sequence and the intent are mine.
Curating aesthetics
I built a curation logic: pull consistent references, turn scattered images into a single, coherent direction.

From feature to experience
The hard part was linking a product feature to a communication that speaks to creatives. I designed every step: how to run it, how to make it land.

Traction
47 designers, creators and professionnals signed up ahead of the session. (from Lego to Hugo Boss)
An unexpected research loop
The workshop did more than show the product. It revealed how these designers actually navigate it, where the flow broke, what confused them. We passed their feedback straight to the developers and UX designers. A communication project that ended up improving the product itself.
